Sumner Cricket Club is situated on the picturesque St Leonards Square on Campbell St, Sumner (A beautiful small sea-side
village suburb) Christchurch, New Zealand. The club recently celebrated its Centenary season of 100 years in the season of 2005/06. Sumner is a very competitive but also social cricket club. We have had a lot of success in the last ten years winning the senior one day and two day titles frequently. This year we are looking for new players to continue this success. We have a team to suit any ability from the most serious to social. |

Sumner offers a wide variety of grades to suit all abilties: We have a very strong and successful senior side for competitive
cricketers that plays both one-day and two-day cricket. The Third A grade is a very good social-competitive grade that consists
of 40 over one day cricket. We also have a fourth grade side for the more social player which also consists of 40 over one day
cricket. Finally we provide a "presidents" grade which is for 35+ cricketers. If you are interested in entering a closed team
